Home of bears & wolves

This past weekend we went to the Home of bears & wolves. There you can see “42 brown bears and 26 European grey wolves, in one place”. BTW, they were separated from each other:). The bears come from some closed Zoo, or Circus, or found near by cities. Far from happiness, but they have no choice. If this place does not give them home, then they would be killed.

Although I am not a professional artist, but maybe someone is interested in "how I work".
So I saved my latest work in individual files to show each of my steps before the final image

This is my first thumbnail. At this point I just play with big shapes, and did'nt work out any of details. There are problems with his foot, hands etc..blabla

Second thumbnail. I gave him an old-school rocker personality and fixed some perspective problems.

Almost done with the painting. Still had problems with his legs, so I redraw his foot, but caught with foreshortening...:S

humpbacked gangster in three steps

My basic idea was to create a humpbacked character with guns in his hands. When I finished a first lines... not happy with that. So I started to skew, and distort it. Refined the lines, removed the second pistol (replaced with a "dropped hat") Now he's doesnt seem like a humpbacked character, just a gangster with shirred shoulders, but hope you like it.
